As a core part of our work, we deem transparency as a key indicator for trustworthy carbon removal and climate action. When Sylvera approached us to offer being part of the first cohort of artisan biochar projects that are rated by their methodology, the answer was obvious: absolutely! With little to no fear that we could receive a bad rating, we submitted all possible evidence we gathered over time to prove that our projects are worth investing in. The results make us proud and showed us that artisan biochar is competitively robust within the broader spectrum of carbon removal methodologies.

Our motivation: bringing projects to excellence

We are glad to have been part of this first cohort of rating artisan biochar projects. Not only does this offer a benchmarking, and public confidence in the integrity of these projects, but also it shows room for improvements. We thrive to step up our operational standard as we believe a good project must withstand any due diligence. Every extra mile in data collection and additional proof will be an extra mile worth walking to bring resilience and wealth to our Climate Farmers in the global south!
