we transform rural communities into climate agents

Our Story

CarbonConnect was founded in 2021 by two like-minded and long-haired idealists with a mission to make a difference in today's world that still faces a lot of planetary challenges, unfairness and inequalities. It quickly turned out that accelerating climate justice is one of the most meaningful areas disregarded in the climate crisis development and inherent strategies.

Our purpose was found, and our vision clear: build the crucial climate economy including the ones that are affected most, not as recipients of charity, but as entrepreneurial agents, an integral part of a solution for a problem they did not create. A solution for men and women in rural areas that will resolve a variety of additional environmental and social challenges along the way, too.

Today, we're a diverse team of like-minded and dedicated individuals. We love data and technology as much as field trips and getting our hands dirty. We share the same vision of our planet, beyond the borders of nations, politics, or varying cultures. Most importantly: be mindful and healthy to ourselves, each other, and the planet. As different as the places of our origins are, as similar are our values and ideas of the world of tomorrow that we thrive to establish together, day by day.
